About Us

Our tradition of making sauce began decades ago in our home kitchen. We started selling it to the locals in the area and it quickly grew from there. To keep up with demand we moved to a larger kitchen and then our own manufacturing facility in Buffalo, NY. Further inspired by visiting Italy, we are proud to now offer a whole line of delicious and authentic pasta and pizza sauce varieties. Enjoy!

Anthony B. Habib

Chairman of the Board

Anthony holds a B.S. in Business Administration.  Anthony has fifteen years of executive experience in the food manufacturing sector, including roles as the head of sales, Vice President and President for various companies including the former Petri Baking Products, Inc.  As president, Anthony oversees all day-to-day operations and overall strategic planning.  He also heads the sales team, personally handling many of the top accounts.   Anthony is heavily involved in t1he local community and currently serves on several boards including Canisius College, Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Nichols School, and Nativity Miguel.  He is also a member of the Bishop’s Council of the Diocese of Buffalo

Walter J. McFarlane

Chief Financial Officer

Walter graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration from Canisius College.  With his years of service at IBP, Inc., Tyson Foods, Inc., Petri Baking Products, Inc., and now Pellicano, Walter has seventeen years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.  As CFO, Walter directs the finance, accounting, purchasing, information technology, and human resource departments.  In addition, he is responsible for commodity contracting, risk management, corporate policies, and product costing.

David Bagwell

Director of Operations

Dave has an Associate Degree in General Studies and in Arts and Sciences.  With 36 years of experience in food and beverage processing, he has worked with a diverse array of product categories including fruit juices, dairy, cookies, bread, and sauces.  Dave has overseen quality control, production, R&D, warehouse, logistics, sanitation, maintenance, safety, and inventory control departments.  His primary responsibility is to improve processes and make Pellicano as efficient as possible.  Other companies Dave has work for include The Minute Maid Company (formerly Coca-Cola Foods), Parmalat-White Knight, Armour Swift-Eckrich (ConAgra), Leprino Foods, Steuben Foods, Cumberland Dairy, and The Bun Basket-Alpha Baking Co (formerly ConAgra Foods).

Ashley Battaglia

Customer Service Manager

Ashley has a B.S. in Communications. She has worked in customer service and inside sales in various industries for over sixteen years, including radio, retail, food service and manufacturing.  In addition to customer service, Ashley has experience in HR, general administration and accounting.  She has never ending attention to detail, solid communication skills, and an ability to anticipate customers’ needs, often before they do.  As CSM, Ashley takes a hands on approach, making sure to know the details of every customer’s program, large or small.
